How do I (partners) get involved in the Innovation Center?
The Innovation Center offers labs, classes, and workshop creation to corporations and UIC colleges and departments. To inquire about one of these offerings, please take a moment to fill out a corresponding interest form, and someone will get back to you. We look forward to hearing from you!
How do students get involved in the Innovation Center?
The Innovation Center offers interdisciplinary labs, classes, as well as other programmatic offerings throughout the year for undergraduate and graduate students.
How do I access resource and facilities at the Innovation Center?
Students and faculty engaged in our labs and classes can access our facilities and resources. The Innovation Center is a secure facility and is only available to those with designated access or prior arrangements.
What type of student employment is available at the Innovation Center?
Undergraduate and graduate level student researchers are hired in our internal and corporate-sponsored labs. We seek students from a variety of disciplines. Lab projects typically align with the semester schedule but may begin on a rolling basis depending on project needs.
What type of projects does the Innovation Center work on?
The Innovation Center works on projects across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, consumer goods, technology, manufacturing, education, and public services. These projects focus on innovating products, processes, and services through research, strategy, prototyping, and testing in collaboration with corporate, nonprofit, and academic partners.
