The Innovation Center provides a diverse set of students and alumni that are well trained and innovation-ready.
The five-year partnership with the Innovation Center and OSF HealthCare has focused on helping OSF fulfill their mission of delivering innovative care to those most in need. The human-centered approach to problem solving has lead to the development of tools, processes, and products that integrate the voices and needs of elderly, rural, and disadvantaged into better access to care, which matters to our partners.

Bosch, and especially our Digital Group, have been fortunate to collaborate with the UIC Innovation Center on multiple projects. We continue to be impressed with the students, faculty and administration on every aspect of the collaborations.

I was impressed by the Innovation Center’s commitment to developing authentic relationships with members of the community. The team at the Innovation Center practices inclusive stakeholdering which makes any innovation more effective.
The Innovation Center’s process isn’t about looking from the outside in to evaluate a problem. Whenever possible, we prefer to be embedded into our partner’s teams and communities to understand challenges from the perspective of those impacted most directly. We gather data, listen to stories and walk in our partners’ shoes.
