Charles’ other focus is interdisciplinary labs staffed with graduate and undergraduate students at the Innovation Center and consults in the UIC Ophthalmology and Urology labs.

Charles Frisbie previously worked on teaching students through an interdisciplinary approach to solve real world problems. He taught the Interdisciplinary Product Development (IPD) class at the Innovation Center along with faculty from engineering, design, and public health.
