Cristina began working as a research intern in the Innovation Center the Summer of 2021. During her time as an intern she worked on projects for UI Health and LG Electronics where she developed an interest in human-centered design. In addition to her role as research assistant, Cristina works for nonprofit organization Collaborative Institute of Cultural arts where she teaches Mexican folkloric dance to children ranging from 7-16 years old.
